This year marks a special milestone, and the Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey is pleased to host a grand commemorative event honoring the 36th anniversary of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.
Following the afternoon performances by various cultural groups, there will be an open-mic session where members of the public are warmly invited to participate and perform songs of their choice.

Join USA V-TAG Coordinator Tenzin Choesang on Monday, Nov 10th from 6-8 pm, for a discussion on what V-TAG is, what it hopes to achieve and how to get involved. All ages are welcome, but Tibetan youth are especially encouraged to join!

To honor their sacrifice and continue the struggle for Tibet’s freedom, we will be organizing our next 15th monthly protest.”

She will share her personal experiences of torture during her imprisonment and speak on the ongoing dire situation in Tibet.
The event will be followed by a Q&A session.
